Course Overview

Have your patients had knee surgery? This course reviews the most current guidelines for post-operative knee care, including common surgical procedures and rehabilitation considerations (ACLR, meniscus repair, osteochondral lesions, PCL, MPFL, and TKA), with a focus on current concepts and evidence-based care. Participants learn to differentiate who will respond to conservative care versus when surgical intervention is indicated, manage injury-prevention programs for athletes, and apply evidence-based return-to-play guidelines. Over 60% lab.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Describe the diagnostic classification systems as described by the guidelines.

Integrate the staging of the guidelines into effective examination of patients with post-op knee disorders.

Differentially diagnose post-op knee pain based upon the guidelines.

Apply evidence-based treatment techniques based on guideline classification of patients with post-op knee disorders.
