Register for This CourseCourse Overview
High-level thrust mobilizations are frequently underused in clinical practice because of a lack of confidence or unclear indications. This course helps clinicians understand when these techniques are effective and how to perform them confidently, specifically to enhance the spine-mobilization skills of pelvic floor therapists. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, and case studies, therapists gain practical skills in spine assessment, manual therapy, and integrative treatment approaches to identify and address spinal dysfunction that may impact pelvic floor health. Ideal for practitioners seeking to expand their therapeutic repertoire and provide comprehensive care.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Discuss how and why thrust mobilizations can be effective in managing chronic pain.
Differentiate clinical indicators and contraindicators for the use of spinal mobilization for patients with pelvic floor disorders.
Develop practical skills in spinal manipulation that can be integrated into managing patients with pelvic floor disorders.
